تعلن وحدة تنفيذ السدود عن رغبتها في تعيين مهندسين
أكفاء وذوي خبرة لإدارة عدد من مشاريعها التحضيرية
وذلك على النحو التالى :
1-
Resident Engineer-Highways: 1 Positions- Sites
BSc in Civil
Engineering. Minimum relevant experience 10 years in
Roads and highways design and construction including
hydrology, hydraulics and stormwater management.
Familiar with
contracts document and interpretations,
specification writing, quality control
implementation and audits, scheduling with P3,
report writing, change order procedures, estimating,
tracking quantities, cost control, QA/QC and test
frequency and procedure. Applicant should be very
familiar with AutoCAD, Office Packages: word, excel,
power-point..etc.

Interaction with contractors, consultants including
negotiating change orders, plan changes, and claims.

QA/QC
for both drawings and construction.

Quantity take-off and change orders procedures.

Fluent
in Arabic and English, written and spoken.

Writing
requirements, specification and familiar with
specifications relevant to Highways and Bridges.
Qualifications:
Candidate shall have at least 15years of progressive
construction engineering and inspection experience
with at least 7 years of relevant experience and all
project management software's. Minimum qualification
is BSc in Civil Engineering or Highways or higher.
Relevant certificate is accepted. MSc is preferred.
2- Resident
Engineer- Bridges: 1 Positions- Sites
Candidate should have
experience with the construction engineering; design
and inspection of simple, long and continuous span
concrete girder bridges, straight and curved
alignments. Specific relevant experience with
cast-in-situ segmental box girders with span length
over 80 Meters.. Candidate will also need to
demonstrate a thorough knowledge and mastery of the
following:

QA/QC
for structural design and drawing and construction.

Quantity take-off and change orders procedures.
-
Fluent
in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
-
Writing
requirements, specification and familiar with
specifications relevant to Highways and Bridges.
Qualifications:
Candidate shall have at least 12 years of
progressive construction engineering and inspection
experience with at least 7 years of relevant
experience and all project management softwares.
Minimum qualification is BSc in Civil Engineering or
higher or relevant certificate. MSc is preferred.
3-
Resident Engineer: Position. 1 Buildings and Major
Construction-Sites
The individual is
responsible for oversight of the design and
construction to master planning, design, programming
and schematic level planning for the series of
sub-projects and master project (with project
schedules and budgets). Candidate shall be
responsible for all site activities, meetings,
proposals, change order process, and reporting.
Monitoring cost effectiveness and quality of work
and document. Candidate shall be familiar with
design development, construction document phases to
complete project in timely manner, code compliance,
review architectural documents, changes orders, and
working with contractors and consultants and to
other disciplines to ensure the project is being
developed at optimum accuracy. The successful
candidate is preferred to have experience for
project $ 10 million and above. Writing and
reviewing specifications and codes.
Qualifications:
BSc in Architectural Engineering, or Architecture or
Civil Engineering (with relevant experience). And
minimum of 10 years related experience in healthcare
projects, colleges and technical institutes. Strong
knowledge of codes, (HVAC, Networking, Drainage and
sewage design) systems requirements, estimating,
cost control, contracts, project management.

packages.
4- Architect
Engineer- 1 Position
Khartoum with
frequent traveling.
The individual is
responsible for oversight of the design and design
process to master planning, design, programming and
schematic level planning for the series of

schedules and budgets). Candidate shall be
responsible for all design activities, meetings,
proposals, evaluations, order process, and

Estimating and Cost Control Engineer: 1 Position
Khartoum with
frequent traveling
Responsibilities:
• Candidate shall have experience in estimating,
scheduling and cost control. Shall be able to define
deliverables, activities, and events related to the
Engineering/Design, Procurement, and Construction.
• Develop, maintain, forecast, and control
Engineering, Procurement, and Construction schedules
and costs.
• Quantities take-off, review BoQ’s, verify and
prepare payments certificate.
Requirements:
• Minimum, BSc in Civil Engineering, construction
management or related fields and a minimum of 7 - 10
years of Project Controls experience on industrial
construction or projects over $ 10 Millions cost.
Experience in bridges, highways, and buildings
construction activities is preferred.
• Proven experience in the developing, maintaining,
forecasting, and controlling of Engineering,
Procurement, and Construction schedules and costs.
• Must have experience with Primavera P3 Scheduling
Software, detailed level planning, with cost
loading and earned value features.
•Candidate should have a demonstrable experience
with estimating, quantity take-off, value
engineering and cost allocation.
• Candidate should be ambitious, self-starting, and
possess leadership skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and
Arabic, both verbally and written.
• Must have strong computer skills and with MS
Office packages and most with excel and specialized
costing and estimating software.
6-
Document Controller: 1 Position,
Khartoum with frequent traveling
Document Controller job demands
maintaining a master document register of the latest
drawings and documents on a project and ensure that
all recipients are transmitted the drawings they
require as soon as new revisions of drawings or
submittals are received.
A Document Controller can use
Document control software applications like (QDMS
and
Team Binder, or similar document
management systems) to create an electronic
register of documents and maintain a history of
drawing revisions and transmittals sent to
consultants, contractors, and agencies. This process
also helps in maintaining controlled documents which
is fundamental responsibility of document
controller's position. The applicants shall have
extensive experience with presentation packages and
programming software's such as visual basic,..etc.
Experience with Excel is a must.
The Candidate shall have experience
of 5-7 years minimum in the field.
Typical document controller
responsibilities involve, but not limited to:

Registering of internal and external documents.
·
Maintenance of controlled documents registers.
·
Auditing
·
Distribute documents according to distribution
matrix
·
To
control documents on all or allocated projects
·
Sending
of Drawing Transmittals and Submittals.
·
Ensuring that drawing transmittals are acknowledged
in case there is a dispute on whether the drawings
were transmitted.
·
Manage
the document/drawing review process, Internal and
External.
·
Expedite the responses to document/drawing issues
using advanced Alerts.
·
Archiving data for historical purposes.
